SHERLOCK HOLMES VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
We have had an amazing offer of support for The Sam Banks Memorial Fund from the manager of the Sherlock Holmes Museum. After leaving school Sam worked at the museum and among other positions had the role of a Victorian Policeman. He saved up for his India trip while working there.
The manager wrote to us with this offer:
“We could support your organisation’s aims by paying a volunteer £100 per day to come and work at the museum for a day. If you were to provide say just 2 volunteers per day, your organisation would earn £200 per day for each day the volunteers worked. Its just a thought.”
Please let us know if you are interested in taking part in this initiative. It could be for just one day and with a friend to double the amount raised.
