Our final fundraising concert

An afternoon and evening of music will be taking place in North Devon to celebrate our final year of fundraising. We’d love you to join us! Having recently received a generous donation to fund our five last student bursaries, we are now hoping to raise money on 8th August to launch an outreach educational project at Pathshala. This is one that the Institute would like to dedicate to Sam, and which they would finance after our closing of the memorial fund this year. Please see the photo featured further on.

After fifteen years of raising money for photojournalism students at Pathshala South Asian Media Institute, we have so far given just over £78,800.

The venue is Sam’s uncle’s smokehouse, Smoke on the Waters, in Atherington, Devon, EX37 9HZ. They will be serving food for lunch and dinner (including veggie and vegan options), with all profits going towards the fund.

We’ll also have two sessions of live music in the afternoon and in the evening.

This is not a ticketed event. Just turn up and bring friends and family.

Unfortunately there is a no-dog rule at the venue due to the BBQ menu being too tempting!
